NBA : Thunder Welcome Wizards to Oklahoma City

Point guard Russell Westbrook has been outstanding for the Oklahoma City Thunder so far this season. The 5X All-Star is trying to steer the Thunder back to the playoffs for the sixth season in a row. He should be able to continue his hot streak on Wednesday, when the 11-8 Thunder host the 6-10 Washington Wizards.

The Wizards have been struggling this season, especially on the road. They’re 1-5 away from home and 5-5 at home. The main issue has been their offense, which seems to disappear on the road. At home, they’re averaging 105.8 points per game, but on the road, they’re scoring only 96.5, which is 22nd in the NBA.

The Thunder, meanwhile, are 7-4 at home this season, and they’ve won three of their last four contests on home court. They’ve been very streaky overall, with four separate two-game winning streaks this season and two separate three-game losing streaks.

Oklahoma City is 7-3 SU (four straight wins) and 5-4-1 ATS (three straight wins and a push) in their last 10 against the Wizards, who are 0-7 SU and 2-3-2 ATS in their seven trips to Oklahoma City.

Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder point guard, has been a force this season, and he'll try to continue his MVP-caliber play on Wednesday, when the Thunder host the Washington Wizards.

Westbrook has seven triple-doubles through the first 18 games of the season. He’s second in the league in scoring and assists. The last time he faced the Washington Wizards was February last season, and he put up 17 points, 11 assists and 13 rebounds in the 114-98 win. The Thunder have dominated the Wizards as of late, winning four in a row straight up. To make matters worse, the Wizards are just 1-5 away from home this season.

NFL: Panthers-Seahawks on Sunday Night Football

It's not too late for the Carolina Panthers. After losing five of their first six games, the Panthers (4-7 SU, 3-7-1 ATS) have found their footing again, and they still have a shot at a Wild Card berth in the wayward NFC. Standing in their way this Sunday night are the Seattle Seahawks (7-3-1 SU, 6-5 ATS), who opened as 6.5-point home favourites and quickly moved to –7 on the NFL odds board. Kick-off is at 8:30 PM ET on NBC.

The Seahawks had won three straight SU and ATS before things went haywire in last week's 14-5 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+6 at home). Safety Earl Thomas missed the first game of his career, and cornerback DeShawn Shead also had to sit out, both with hamstring injuries. Their status for Week 13 remains uncertain at press time.

Carolina has a point differential of minus-5 on the season, so that 4-7 record is deceiving, but the Cats are in big trouble on the injury front. Star linebacker Luke Kuechly is out indefinitely with a concussion, and the makeshift offensive line in front of quarterback Cam Newton has been even worse without centre Ryan Kalil (shoulder) and tackle Michael Oher (concussion).

NFL Odds: Injuries Abound in Panthers-Seahawks Matchup

The Seattle Seahawks (7-3-1 SU, 6-5 ATS) will host the Carolina Panthers (4-7 SU, 3-7-1 ATS) for this week's episode of Sunday Night Football, kicking off at 8:30 PM ET on NBC. But hamstring injuries to Earl Thomas and DeShawn Shead could cost Seattle as a 7-point home favourite.

The Panthers are in rough shape, too. They'll be without linebacker Luke Kuechly indefinitely because of a concussion – the same injury that will keep offensive tackle Michael Oher out for the rest of the season. Centre Ryan Kalil is also week-to-week with a nagging shoulder problem.

CFL: Stampeders Big Grey Cup Favorites Over Ottawa

The 104th Grey Cup is this Sunday (6 PM ET, ESPN2), live from BMO Field in Toronto, and on paper, it looks like a mismatch between the Calgary Stampeders and the Ottawa RedBlacks. The Stampeders opened as 9-point favorites with a total of 54.5 before moving to –9.5.

Calgary (16-2-1 SU, 14-5 ATS) deserve to be the favorites after rolling over the rest of the CFL. The RedBlacks (9-9-1 SU, 8-11 ATS) aren't as strong as last year's Grey Cup finalists, and they're only 1-5 SU and ATS versus the Stamps since bringing football back to Ottawa in 2014. The over went 4-1-1 during those six games.

As well as the Stampeders have played this year, the RedBlacks remain a viable threat. They beat the spread in last year's 26-20 loss to Edmonton, cashing in as 7-point underdogs. Also, Calgary failed to cover two years ago in their Grey Cup win over Hamilton (+7.5), winning a close one 20-16. Both those games went under. Sunday's weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies over Toronto and temperatures in the low 40s – or around five degrees Celsius.

CFL Odds: Stampeders Favored at 104th Grey Cup

The Calgary Stampeders (16-2-1 SU, 14-5 ATS) are 9.5-point favorites for Sunday's Grey Cup game against the Ottawa RedBlacks (9-9-1 SU, 8-11 ATS), kicking off from Toronto's BMO Field at 6 PM ET on ESPN2. The total opened at 54.5 points on the CFL odds board.

It's a tough matchup for the RedBlacks, but the underdog-under combo was the right pick in each of the last two Grey Cups – including Ottawa's 26-20 loss to Edmonton last year as 7-point puppies (under 52.5). Sunday's forecast for Toronto: Partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 40s.

NHL: Hurricanes Look to Continue Winning Ways in Montreal

The Carolina Hurricanes (8-6-4 SU, 11-7 ATS) come to Montreal on a five-game win streak. Three of those five victories have come against Canadian teams, including a 3-2 victory against the Habs in Carolina last Friday. The Canadiens (14-4-2), meanwhile, have struggled as of late, dropping four of their last five games, with their most recent loss coming from the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night. Led by centre Alex Galchenyuk (8 goals, 13 assists) and goaltender Carey Price (1.77 goals against average, .943 save percentage), the NHL’s top team has come down to earth after a torrid start to the 2016-17 season.

The Hurricanes come into Thursday’s matchup (7:30 PM ET on SN360) on a hot streak. After defeating Toronto 2-1 Tuesday on goals from Jeff Skinner (8 goals, 8 assists) and Viktor Stalberg (3 goals, 1 assist), Carolina will look to extend their season-high winning stream to six games. Veteran goaltender Cam Ward (2.27 goals against average, .919 save percentage) has rebounded nicely after a tough start to the season and will look to build upon those stats against the second-best offense in the NHL.

NHL Odds: Montreal hosts Carolina at the Bell Centre on Thursday

The Montreal Canadiens (14-4-2), having lost four of their last five games, welcome the Carolina Hurricanes (8-6-4) on Thursday (7:30 PM ET on SN360) in a matchup between two teams trending in opposite directions. Carolina has won five straight games, including a 3-2 victory over the Habs on November 18 in Carolina.

The Hurricanes have been a middle-of-the-pack team so far this season, which is reflected in their 21st ranked offense and 16th ranked defense. Despite their 2nd ranked offense and 7th ranked defense, the Canadiens have struggled of late. They’ll look for players other than Alex Radulov and Alex Galchenyuk to chip in offensively on Thursday to help the Canadiens get back in the win column.

NFL: Luck Unlikely for Steelers-Colts Matchup

The Indianapolis Colts are one of the most popular teams in the NFL, but it looks like they'll be without their star quarterback Thursday night (8:30 PM ET, NBC), when the Pittsburgh Steelers drop in for Thanksgiving. The Colts are 3-point underdogs at press time with Scott Tolzien expected to fill in for Andrew Luck. The 54-point total is the biggest on the Week 12 odds board.

Luck was placed in concussion protocol after Sunday's 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans (+3 away), and isn't likely to be cleared in time for Turkey Day. Tolzien will presumably make his first start for the Colts (5-5 SU, 5-4-1 ATS) after backing up Aaron Rodgers for three seasons with the Green Bay Packers. The former Wisconsin Badger played three games in November 2013 and was largely ineffective, throwing one touchdown pass and five interceptions.

The Steelers (5-5 SU and ATS) are coming off a 24-9 victory over the Cleveland Browns, who fell as 9.5-point home dogs despite holding Ben Roethlisberger to 167 yards passing. That ugly win snapped Pittsburgh's four-game losing streak SU and ATS; it also lifted the Steelers into a first-place tie with the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North.

NFL Odds: Colts Likely Without Luck Versus Steelers

The Indianapolis Colts (5-5 SU, 5-4-1 ATS) will probably be without starting quarterback Andrew Luck this Thursday when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-5 SU and ATS), kicking off at 8:30 PM ET on NBC. Luck was placed in concussion protocol after Sunday's win over Tennessee.

With Scott Tolzien likely to start in place of Luck, the Colts are 3-point home dogs at press time with a total of 54. Tolzien has two NFL starts under his belt, both with the Green Bay Packers in 2013; the former Wisconsin Badger has one career touchdown pass and five interceptions.

NBA: Warriors, Lakers Square Off in California Showdown

The Golden State Warriors are still working on team chemistry, but they’ve opened the season winning 12 of 14 games. The Los Angeles Lakers haven’t started quite as strongly, but they look better than last season, splitting their first 14 contests. The two sides meet in Oakland on Wednesday in the first half of a home-and-home series.

The Lakers went to 7-7 SU (8-5-1 ATS) after a 118-110 home loss to the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. Louis Williams came off the bench and led the team with 25 points. Another sub, Larry Nance Jr., added 18 for the Lakers, who were outrebounded 56-37. The Lakers host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday before the Warriors visit.

The Warriors are 12-2 SU (6-7-1 ATS) after a 120-83 drubbing of the Indiana Pacers. Klay Thompson put up 25 points, while Steph Curry added 22. Thanks to the blowout win, Curry, Thompson and Kevin Durant all played 30 minutes or less, giving them the chance to rest.
The Warriors are 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Lakers, who routed Golden State 117-97 on November 4. The two move to Los Angeles on Friday night for the second half of their home-and-home.

NBA Odds: Warriors Host Lakers On Wednesday

The Golden State Warriors are living up to their status as NBA title contenders. They’re 12-2 SU (6-7-1 ATS) to start the year. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers are young and improving. The two meet on Wednesday in Oakland.

The Warriors are 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 against the Lakers, who’ve won two straight SU and covered three straight ATS in this series. The Lakers beat Golden State 117-97 on November 4, which is the night Golden State's Stephen Curry failed to hit a three-pointer for the first time in 157 games.

NCAAF : Gators-Seminoles in Florida Cup Classic

It's always interesting when the Florida Gators and the Florida State Seminoles match up for Rivalry Week, but it's even better when the stakes are high. The No. 13 Gators (8-2 SU, 4-5-1 ATS) can still make the College Football Playoff, while the No. 15 Seminoles (8-3 SU, 6-4 ATS) are in the running for a high-end bowl game, like the Sun Bowl on December 30 in El Paso.

The football odds are in Florida State's favor. The Seminoles are 7.5-point home favorites at press time for Saturday's game (8 PM ET, ABC), up from –6.5 at the open, and they've owned this rivalry since Jimbo Fisher took over as FSU's head coach in 2010, going 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS. The Gators have also failed to cover each of their last six non-conference games.

While the Florida Gators are ahead in the FBS standings and the CFP rankings, the analytics point to the Seminoles as the stronger team. The difference is especially pronounced on offense; FSU rank 19th overall at 6.54 yards per play, while the Gators are No. 84 at 5.47 yards. The under is 7-3 for Florida this year and 13-3 in their last 16 games against Florida State.

NCAAF Odds: Gators, Seminoles Getting Ready for Rivalry Week

The No. 15 Florida State Seminoles (8-3 SU, 6-4 ATS) host the No. 13 Florida Gators (8-2 SU, 4-5-1 ATS) this Saturday, kicking off at 8 PM ET on ABC, but it hasn't been much of a rivalry in recent years. The Seminoles are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS against Florida since Jimbo Fisher became head coach in 2010.

The 'Noles also have the better analytics in this matchup, even though the Gators (+7.5 at press time) can still reach the College Football Playoff by beating FSU and upsetting the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide for the SEC title.

F1 : Hamilton Favored in Season Finale at Abu Dhabi

The last race of the 2016 Formula 1 season is coming up on November 27 at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and defending World Drivers' champion Lewis Hamilton is still in the hunt. Hamilton is 12 points back of Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg in the Drivers' standings. Under the F1 points system established in 2010, Hamilton can still overtake Rosberg, but he's a +350 underdog to do so.

At the same time, Rosberg (–550) can secure the Drivers' Championship by finishing at least third, and that seems very likely. Rosberg won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last year, and he made the podium in each of his last eight races. Hamilton and Rosberg have finished 1-2 in three straight events; Hamilton is –175 to win again at Abu Dhabi, while Rosberg is +225.
Only two other F1 drivers have seen the checkered flag this year, both from Red Bull Racing: Max Verstappen, who won the Spanish Grand Prix, and Daniel Ricciardo, who won the Malaysian Grand Prix. They're tied as the third favorites for Abu Dhabi at +1200. Four-time Drivers' champion Sebastien Vettel, who moved from Red Bull to Ferrari last year, is also in the mix at +1600.

F1 Odds: Last Chance for Hamilton in Abu Dhabi

Two-time and defending F1 Drivers' champion Lewis Hamilton can make it three straight with a strong performance at this year's final race, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 27. But Hamilton is 12 points behind Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg, so Rosberg can clinch the title with a podium finish.

Hamilton and Rosberg placed 1-2 in each of the last three races, and that's where they are on the F1 odds list for the Abu Dhabi: Hamilton is favored at –175, followed by Rosberg at +225. Red Bull teammates Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen are tied for third at +1200.

NFL : Eagles-Seahawks in Defensive Struggle

The last time the Philadelphia Eagles visited the Seattle Seahawks, the quarterbacks were Vince Young and Tarvaris Jackson. That was five years ago; this Sunday's rematch (4:25 PM ET, CBS) in Seattle will look remarkably different, with rookie Carson Wentz piloting the Eagles and three-time Pro Bowler Russell Wilson leading the Seahawks.

Here's another big difference: Seattle (6-2-1 SU, 5-4 ATS) was a 3-point home dog in that 2011 contest. At press time, the 'Hawks are 6.5-point favorites for Sunday's tilt with a total of 44.5. Although these are two of the best defenses in the NFL, the OVER is 5-4 for each team in 2016; the Eagles (5-4 SU and ATS) have padded their stats with two kick returns for touchdowns, plus a pick-six and a safety. Seattle has just the lone fumble return thus far.

It speaks to the quality of the two quarterbacks in question. Wilson hasn't done much scrambling this year, but his passing game is still Top 10 in the league according to efficiency. Wentz is holding his own for a rookie; however, his numbers for the year are those of a replacement-level quarterback. Philly's defense and special teams are the ones driving the bus.

NFL Odds: Defense on Display in Eagles-Seahawks Tilt

The Seattle Seahawks (6-2-1 SU, 5-4 ATS) are famous for their Legion of Boom secondary, but it's the Philadelphia Eagles (5-4 SU and ATS) who bring the NFL's best defense to the Emerald City this Sunday, kicking off at 4:25 PM ET on CBS.

Despite their defensive prowess, the Eagles are 6.5-point road dogs for Sunday's matchup, with a total of 44.5. Rookie QB Carson Wentz is playing at replacement-level through nine games, and Philly's top-performing cornerback, Nolan Carroll, is in concussion protocol after getting his bell rung by the Atlanta Falcons last week.

NHL : Maple Leafs welcome the Panthers on Thursday Night

Fresh off of their second straight overtime victory, the Florida Panthers (8-7-1) will continue their Canadian road trip in Toronto, as they face off against the Maple Leafs (7-6-3) Thursday at 7:30 PM ET (TSN4). Through the first 16 games this season, the Panthers and Leafs are tied with 17 points apiece. NBA : Warriors Make Northern Trip to Face Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors and the Golden State Warriors are both off to hot starts this season. The Warriors will head to Toronto on Wednesday night to take on the Raptors in a meeting of two teams with NBA title hopes.

The Warriors ran their record to 8-2 in a 133-120 win on Sunday at home over Phoenix. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson dropped 30 points each, while Kevin Durant added 29 for the Warriors, who hit 16 of their 33 three-point attempts. The Warriors are off until their trip to Toronto, so they'll be well-rested for this game.
The Raptors went to 7-2 after a 118-107 home win over New York on Saturday. DeMar DeRozan continued his blazing start with 33 points for the Raptors, with Kyle Lowry adding 19 points. Toronto plays Cleveland on Tuesday, which means the Raptors have a tough back-to-back against last season's finalists, and the last two NBA champions.
Golden State is 4-1 SU and 2-3 ATS in their last five meetings with the Raptors, including four wins in a row SU.

The Golden State Warriors are off to a solid start as they aim to make their third straight trip to the NBA Finals. The Warriors head north on Wednesday to take on the Toronto Raptors.

The Warriors' offense leads the NBA, averaging 116.4 points, which is almost seven points more than second-place Atlanta. The Raptors are one of eight teams in the NBA that are allowing less than 100 points per game, giving up 99.2 points. The Warriors have won four in a row over the Raptors straight up, but Toronto covered both games last season.

NFL : Cardinals, Vikings in a Toss-Up

Two former No. 1 draft picks will meet this Sunday (1 PM ET, FOX) when Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals visit Sam Bradford and the Minnesota Vikings. It's a coin flip on the NFL odds board; this game is a pick 'em at press time with a total of 40.5, the lowest total for Week 11 of the regular season.

The Cardinals (4-4-1 SU, 3-6 ATS) haven't had much success this year, and the Vikings (5-4 SU and ATS) have followed up five straight wins with four straight defeats, but the playoffs are still in reach for both teams. The onus is on Minnesota to pull out of this tailspin, but it won’t be an easy task with the Vikings’ offensive line in tatters. Tackle Jake Long is the latest casualty after tearing his Achilles in last week's 26-20 loss to Washington (–2 at home).

Arizona hasn't had much luck in the trenches, either. LT Jared Veldheer, one of the best in the game, went on injured reserve two weeks ago with a torn triceps. With RG Evan Mathis (ankle) already out for the season, Palmer is second in the NFL with 26 sacks; Bradford has been sacked 24 times thus far.

NFL Odds: Protection Issues for Cardinals, Vikings

It's not too late for the Arizona Cardinals (4-4-1 SU, 3-6 ATS) and the Minnesota Vikings (5-4 SU and ATS) to salvage their seasons. But only one can win when they meet this Sunday in Minneapolis, starting at 1 PM ET on FOX. This game is a pick 'em at press time with a stingy total of 41 points.

It's hard to score when your quarterback is face-down on the turf. Arizona's Carson Palmer (26 sacks) and Minnesota's Sam Bradford (24 sacks) are playing behind depleted offensive lines – especially Bradford, whose Vikings have lost four straight SU and ATS.

MMA : McGregor Favored to Become Dual Champion at UFC 205

He's already got the UFC Featherweight belt. This Saturday, Conor McGregor will try to double his collection at UFC 205 when he takes on Eddie Alvarez for the Lightweight strap. McGregor is the –150 favorite at press time, down from –185 when this fight first hit the odds board as a speculative matchup back on August 23.

It's always been McGregor's plan to hold both belts, just like he did for Cage Warriors before signing with the UFC three years ago. He got sidetracked a bit with his two Welterweight non-title fights against Nate Diaz, splitting the pair, but that experience should have McGregor (20-3 lifetime, 8-1 UFC) better prepared to face Alvarez (28-4 lifetime, 3-1 UFC) at 155 pounds.

Alvarez has been down this road, too; he was the BodogFIGHT Welterweight champion before moving down in weight class and winning the inaugural Bellator Lightweight title in 2009. However, Alvarez and McGregor are both 5-foot-9, and the challenger has a five-inch reach advantage. It'll be up to Alvarez to avoid those punches and put McGregor on the ground, where the champion should have a considerable advantage – provided he can take the Irishman to the mat.

UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor wants to add the Lightweight belt to his wardrobe. He'll get his chance this Saturday at UFC 205 when he takes on the champion, Eddie Alvarez, in the promotion's debut card at Madison Square Garden.

McGregor (20-3 lifetime, 8-1 UFC) may be the challenger, but he's the –150 favorite at press time. He's also the larger man in this fight, standing the same 5-foot-9 as Alvarez (28-4 lifetime, 3-1 UFC) with a five-inch reach advantage. McGregor's last two fights were at 170 pounds against Nate Diaz; the Irishman lost the first and won the second.

NCAAF : Mississippi State Bulldogs at No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide

Can anyone stop the Alabama Crimson Tide (9-0 SU, 7-2 ATS)? The defending champs are three games away from sweeping the regular season, and they'll probably be 10-0 after hosting the Mississippi State Bulldogs (4-5 SU and ATS) this Saturday, kicking off at noon Eastern on ESPN. Alabama opened as a 29-point chalk and remain there at press time.

The Crimson Tide have beaten the odds as double-digit favorites all year long, but it hasn't all been smooth sailing for the nation's No. 1 team at spreads this big. Impressive victories over Western Kentucky (+27 away) and Kent State (+42.5 away) were close shaves ATS, and the Tide coughed up the cash in a 34-6 win over Kentucky (+37 away).

Mississippi State are coming off a major 35-28 upset over then-No. 4 Texas A&M, winning as 11-point home dogs to improve to 3-0 ATS this year when getting at least 10 points. Saturday's spread is the largest between these two teams since head coaches Nick Saban and Dan Mullen took over their respective programs; the previous record was set in 2013, when Saban and the Tide had to settle for a 20-7 victory as 23.5-point road favorites.

NCAAF Odds: Tide Laying 29 Points to Mississippi State

The Alabama Crimson Tide (9-0 SU, 7-2 ATS) have won 21 straight college football games, and for the most part, it hasn't been close. Saturday's game against the visiting Mississippi State Bulldogs (4-5 SU and ATS) should be another blowout; the Tide are favored by 29 points, holding steady since the open.

ESPN has the television coverage for this game starting at noon Eastern. The Bulldogs are 3-0 ATS this year as double-digit underdogs, including last week's 35-28 upset over the Texas A&M Aggies (–11 away), who were ranked No. 4 heading into that matchup.

NHL : Wild Visit the Pens on Thursday Night

In their first meeting of the season, Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins (9-2-2) will host the Minnesota Wild (6-4-1) Thursday at 7 PM ET. The Wild, having lost their last two games, sit first overall in team defense with an average of 2.00 goals against per game so far in 2016-17. The Wild have only given up three goals in their last five games despite the two-game slide. That stingy Wild defense will look to contain red-hot Evgeni Malkin (seven goals, six assists) and Sidney Crosby, who has eight goals and two assists through eight games when they face off in Steel City.

The Penguins, sixth overall in team offense, have won two straight and have scored a combined nine goals over those games. After missing the first six games of the season with a concussion, Captain Crosby has been on fire, leading the Pens in goals despite playing only half of his team’s games. Netminder, Matt Murray (1.33 GAA, .957 save %), has started the last two games for the Penguins, and may get the nod again this Thursday over Marc-Andre Fleury (3.07 GAA, .912 save %).

Look for a battle of offensive strength versus defensive strength on Thursday night, as Pittsburgh will look to utilize its versatile offense against a suffocating Wild defense.

NHL Odds: Penguins Look to Continue their Winning Ways Against Minnesota

The Minnesota Wild (6-4-1) will try to stop a two-game slide Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins (9-2-2). Thursday’s game (7 PM ET) on FSN will showcase two of the offensive mainstays in the league over the past decade in Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby. Neither has shown signs of slowing down so far in 2016-17, as Malkin (seven goals, six assists) and Crosby (eight goals and two assists) have each led their team offensively.

The Wild will look to counter with the best overall team defense (2.00 GAA per game) and well-rounded offensive play, led by defenseman Ryan Suter (three goals, seven assists).

NFL : Cowboys, Steelers in Super Bowl Rematch

They were bitter rivals in the 1970s, but these days, the Dallas Cowboys (7-1 SU and ATS) don’t get to play the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4 SU and ATS) very often. They'll meet this Sunday at Heinz Field, kicking off at 4:25 PM ET on FOX. At press time, the Steelers are 2-point favourites with a total of 50, down from –3 at the open.

The Cowboys seem happy to continue with rookie Dak Prescott at quarterback. Tony Romo may be activated this week if he makes enough progress in practice, but with Prescott playing at a Pro-Bowl level, there's no rush to put Romo in harm's way. The Cowboys have one of the best offenses in the league, and their defense has been surprisingly competent after four years of sub-par performances.

The Steelers were much happier to get Ben Roethlisberger back in the lineup after he tore a meniscus in Week 6, but they may have pushed him too hard. Roethlisberger was clearly less than 100% in last Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens (+3.5 at home). To make matters worse, centre Maurkice Pouncey dislocated his thumb in Baltimore and might not be available against Dallas.

NFL Odds: Prescott Meets Big Ben in Cowboys-Steelers Tilt

Forty years ago, it was Roger Staubach and Terry Bradshaw. This Sunday (4:25 PM ET, FOX), it'll be Dak Prescott and Ben Roethlisberger, as the Dallas Cowboys make their way to Heinz Field for a rare meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Cowboys (7-1 SU and ATS) look content to give Prescott another start in place of injured Tony Romo. Pittsburgh (4-4 SU and ATS), however, pressed Roethlisberger back into service after he tore a meniscus in Week 6. The Steelers have already moved from –3 at the open to –2 at press time.

NBA : Hawks, Cavaliers go Head-to-Head in Cleveland

The Cleveland Cavaliers have gotten off to a solid 6-0 start defending their title. They'll have a chance to extend that run when they host the Atlanta Hawks tonight at 7 PM ET.

The Hawks went 4-2 with a 112-97 win over the Houston Rockets at home on Saturday. All five Hawks starters were in double figures; power forward Paul Millsap led the way with 23 points and 11 rebounds, and center Dwight Howard had 20 points and 14 rebounds in his first game against the team he left in the offseason.

The Cavaliers are coming off a 102-101 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on the road on Saturday. Small forward LeBron James became the 10th-leading scorer in NBA history, putting up 25 points, 14 assists and eight rebounds. Power forward Kevin Love added 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Cavs. The Cavaliers won their last 11 meetings with the Hawks straight up, covering in nine of those games. In addition, Cleveland has swept Atlanta in the last two postseasons. The Hawks are 8.5-point underdogs for tonight’s matchup, with the total set at 207 as we go to press.
