MLB : Blue Jays-Orioles in Pivotal AL East Matchup

The Toronto Blue Jays (75-56, +1.41 betting units) are well on their way to the playoffs. They've already taken the first of three games at Camden Yards against the Baltimore Orioles (71-60, +9.22 units), beating them 5-1 Monday night as –150 favorites to send the O's four games back in the American League East. The series finale is Wednesday at 7:05 PM ET on Sportsnet.

Aaron Sanchez (3.33 FIP) will pitch for Toronto after skipping his last start. The Jays want to manage his workload; the third-year righty is already up to 156.1 innings in his first full season in the bigs. Sanchez is up 1.43 units on a team record of 15-9, with the under checking in at 17-7.

For the Orioles, it'll be veteran northpaw Yovani Gallardo (5.17 FIP), who's having easily the worst season of his career after signing with Baltimore in late February. Despite his struggles, the O's are ahead 0.53 units at 9-9 with Gallardo on the mound, and the UNDER is somehow profitable at 11-7. That wasn't the case in his last start, Friday's 14-4 loss to the New York Yankees (+175 at home) with the total set at 9.5 runs (over –130).

MLB Odds: Will Jays Hex O's in Baltimore?
At press time, the Toronto Blue Jays (75-56, +1.41 betting units) are available at +800 on the World Series futures market, but that bargain won't last the way Toronto is playing. The Jays have won four straight, including Monday's 5-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles (71-60, +9.22 units) as –150 road favorites. Game 3 of this three-game series is Wednesday at 7:05 PM ET on Sportsnet.

The pitching matchup features Aaron Sanchez (3.33 FIP) taking the mound for Toronto against struggling veteran Yovani Gallardo (5.17 FIP). Sanchez skipped his previous scheduled start as part of an innings-management program.

MLB : Blue Jays, Orioles Clash in AL East Showdown

The AL East is arguably the best race in baseball right now, with three teams vying for a top spot. Two of the three teams close out a three-game set on Wednesday when the Baltimore Orioles host the Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays started the week with a three-game lead over the Orioles.

Aaron Sanchez (12-2, 2.99 ERA) took a no-decision in his last outing on August 20; it was a 6-5 win in Cleveland, during which he was tagged for five runs on four hits over four innings, striking out five and walking one. The Jays then sent Sanchez to the minors, but he didn't pitch because they’re monitoring his innings. The 24-year-old righthander is 2-0 in three starts against the Orioles this season, posting a 4.50 ERA.

Yovani Gallardo (4-6, 5.69) lasted just 1.1 innings in his latest outing, which was a 14-4 road loss to the New York Yankees. He was knocked around for eight runs (seven earned) on six hits, striking out none and walking one. The 30-year-old righty, who is 0-3 in his last four starts, has split a pair of starts against the Blue Jays this season, although he has an ERA of 6.75 in those games.

MLB Odds: Blue Jays Bring Back Sanchez in Baltimore
The Toronto Blue Jays have been watching Aaron Sanchez's innings, but he'll return to the mound on Wednesday when the Baltimore Orioles host the Blue Jays. Game time is 7:05 PM ET.

Sanchez was sent down to the minors after his last start, a no-decision against Cleveland, but he didn't pitch. Toronto is monitoring his innings and wanted him to skip a start. The Orioles, who trailed the Blue Jays by three games at the beginning of the week, will counter with Yovani Gallardo, who was blasted for eight runs in just 1.1 innings of work by the New York Yankees in his last start.

E-sports: Team SoloMid, Cloud9, G2, Splyce in LCS 2016

E-sports Odds: TSM, G2 Bound for Glory in LCS Summer Playoffs
We're down to the finals at the Summer Playoffs for the League of Legends Championship Series. The titles in both the North American and European Union brackets will be decided this Sunday; Team SoloMid are heavy –450 favorites for their match against Cloud9 in Toronto, while G2 Esports are –225 against Splyce in Krakow.

Team SoloMid have now reached the NA finals eight out of eight times, winning three championships thus far. However, they did drop back-to-back titles to Cloud9 in 2013 (Summer) and 2014 (Spring). Then TSM got their revenge on Cloud9 in the next two finals. This summer's team tore through the Group Stage with a record of 17-1; Cloud9 were third at 12-6.

The EU final pits the top two teams from the regular season, with G2 (10-8) taking first and Splyce (9-6-3) taking second. G2 are the reigning champs from this year's Spring Split, marking their first major title since launching in 2014. Splyce are new on the scene, formed from the ashes of Team Dignitas EU, which was sold to Follow eSports last October. They finished the Spring Split at 5-13 and had to win their way out of relegation to reclaim their LCS spot.

Team SoloMid crushed the Round Robin portion of the NA Summer Split at 17-1, with Cloud9 coming in third at 12-6. G2, the reigning champions from the EU Spring Split, also finished first in Europe at 10-8, just ahead of second-place Splyce at 9-6-3.

NCAAF: Hawaii, California Kick Off NCAAF Season in Australia

The college football season officially kicks off on Friday in Sydney, Australia with the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors facing the California Golden Bears. The Warriors are 20-point underdogs as we go to press.

The Rainbow Warriors are coming off a 3-10 season, in which they went 0-8 in conference play. The good news is they return 15 starters from last season, including nine on offense. However, the defense is where Rainbow Warriors have to improve; they were 98th in yards allowed per game last season. They also gave up a whopping 38.9 points per game over their final nine contests.

The Golden Bears were 8-5 last season overall, which was somewhat disappointing after a strong 5-0 start. They welcome back nine starters but have to replace their star QB – Jared Goff who is joining the LA Rams as the top NFL draft pick. Davis Webb, a transfer from Texas Tech, is up for the starting QB job.

The Golden Bears and Rainbow Warriors have split their four overall meetings, with the last one dating back to 1994 – which Hawaii won. Game time for Friday’s match is 10 PM ET with Fox Sports 2 providing coverage.

odds and lines

NCAAF Odds: Hawaii, California Start Season Down Under
College football is heading Down Under. The new season kicks off on Friday at 10 PM ET with the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors taking on the California Golden Bears in the 2016 College Football Sydney Cup.

The Golden Bears are favoured by 20 points in this neutral-site affair. They’re coming off an 8-5 season (6-7 ATS), but were only 4-5 in conference play. The Rainbow Warriors were 3-10 SU and ATS last season and at 0-8 in the Mountain West, making it the second time in three years that they were winless in conference play.

NCAAF : Hawaii-Cal Open 2016 Down Under

Week 1 of the FBS college football season is getting an early start – literally. It will be noon local time (10 PM ET, ESPN) when the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors play the California Golden Bears this Friday at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia. The Bears have opened as massive 20-point favorites, although the early action has been on Hawaii.

The Warriors have seen better days. They went 3-10 SU and ATS last year, dropping all eight of their conference games in the Mountain West. Nick Rolovich, a former quarterback and offensive coordinator at Hawaii, will try to resurrect this program in his maiden voyage as a head coach.

California enjoyed a reasonably good 2015 campaign at 8-5 SU and 6-7 ATS, ending the season with a convincing 55-36 win over Air Force (+5.5) at the Armed Forces Bowl. But the Bears enter their fourth year of football under Sonny Dykes with lowered expectations after QB Jared Goff went No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft. It's up to new starter Davis Webb to pick up the slack; Webb transferred from Texas Tech after finishing his degree, and looks like a comfortable fit in the Bear Raid offense.

NCAAF : Hawaii-Cal Open 2016 Down Under

odds and lines

NCAAF Odds: Webb Takes Over as Cal, Hawaii Open 2016
With Jared Goff turning pro, Davis Webb will be under center for the California Golden Bears when they open the 2016 FBS college football season Friday (10 PM ET, ESPN) in Sydney, Australia against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. California is a 20-point chalk at press time.

Webb, a graduate transfer from Texas Tech, has the big arm that head coach Sonny Dykes needs in his Bear Raid offense. The Warriors know a thing or two about big arms; rookie coach Nick Rolovich was their star QB in 2001, but current starter Ikaika Woolsey has yet to impress in Hawaii.

MLB : Dodgers, Giants Continue Rivalry in Los Angeles

As September approaches, the San Francisco Giants (68-56, -2.15 betting units) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (69-55, -4.91 betting units) are battling for the National League West title. The Dodgers host the Giants in the second of a three-game set on Wednesday, starting at 10:10 PM ET.

The Giants will start with Johnny Cueto (14-3, 2.90 ERA) who’s coming of an 8-1 win over the New York Mets. Cueto allowed a run on eight hits over seven innings, striking out two and he didn't walk a batter for the first time in eight starts. The 30-year-old All-Star is 2-0 in three starts against the Dodgers this season, posting an ERA of 3.63.

The Dodgers will counter with Rich Hill (9-3, 2.25 ERA), who’s back in action for the first time in over a month. He returns from the disabled list with a blister, hoping to make his Dodgers debut. In his last start with the Oakland Athletics, Hill won a 3-1 decision in Houston, giving up a run on three hits over six innings with 10 strikeouts and a pair of walks. The 36-year-old lefty is 2-1 in five career starts against the Giants with an ERA of 3.18.

MLB : Dodgers, Giants Continue Rivalry in Los Angeles

MLB Odds: Giants, Dodgers Square Off in Los Angeles
The National League West is the place to be on Wednesday when the Los Angeles Dodgers (69-55, -4.91 betting units) host their rivals, the San Francisco Giants (68-56, -2.15 betting units), in the second game of a three-game set.

The Giants will go with Johnny Cueto after the All-Star ended a six-start winless streak with an 8-1 win against the New York Mets on August 19. Meanwhile, the Dodgers are hoping to go with Rich Hill, who was acquired from Oakland on August 1, but has yet to make his debut due to a blister.

MLB : First-Place Jays Host Last-Place Angels

With fewer than 40 games remaining in the 2016 regular season, the Toronto Blue Jays (70-54, +0.47 betting units) are in the thick of a three-way race for first in the American League East. The Los Angeles Angels (52-72, –20.13 units), on the other hand, are last in the AL West by 20.5 games heading into Monday's action. They'll meet Wednesday at Rogers Centre; Sportsnet has the coverage starting at 7:07 PM ET.

Marco Estrada (4.17 FIP) is scheduled to pitch for Toronto. The 33-year-old righty has an unusual talent for creating “soft” contact, posting a ridiculously low .215 BABIP to take the edge off his propensity for giving up walks (3.13 per nine innings) and home runs (1.22/9 IP). Estrada remains 0.93 units in the red this year on a team record of 12-9.

In theory, Los Angeles has the better right arm in 29-year-old Matt Shoemaker (3.61 FIP), but he's been snake-bitten by a .321 BABIP. The light-hitting Halos (.727 OPS) have also given Shoemaker just 3.21 runs per game in support, leaving themselves 8-16 and 8.53 units in debt during his 24 starts. The under is 14-9-1 for Shoemaker and 13-8 for Estrada this year.

MLB : First-Place Jays Host Last-Place Angels

odds and lines

MLB Odds: Angels-Jays at Rogers Centre
The Toronto Blue Jays (70-54, +0.47 betting units) have an opportunity to gain some ground in the AL East when they host the faltering Los Angeles Angels (52-72, –20.13 units) for a three-game set at Rogers Centre. Game 2 takes place Wednesday night at 7:07 PM ET on Sportsnet.

This will be a righty-on-righty matchup between Toronto's Marco Estrada (4.17 FIP) and LA's Matt Shoemaker (3.61 FIP). While Shoemaker has the better FIP, he's received just 3.21 runs per game in support, leaving the Halos down 8.53 units on a team record of 8-16.

Slots - Thunderbird slot game

Rival Gaming’s new 5-reel, 50-line slot, Thunderbird, is inspired by Native American cultures. The design features ornate native art, four-tiered totem poles, traditional drums and animal carvings, including a carving of the powerful thunderbird. According to Native American mythology, the thunderbird is a colossal creature with a big-enough wingspan to create thunder. The bird certainly triggers some high-paying storms in the 5-reel slot game.

Slots - Thunderbird slot game

Play slots online

The thunderbird is the central figure in the Rival game. It primarily serves as a wild and multiplier, and becomes increasingly valuable in Free Spins Mode and the Super Spirit Bonus Round. To trigger Free Spins Mode, players must land at least three Free Spin icons (the Red Salmon symbol), and depending on how many are landed, you get one of three free spin clusters: 10 free spins (for three Salmon), 20 free spins (for four Salmon), and 50 free spins (for five Salmon).

Once in Free Spins Mode, the thunderbird transforms from a standard wild to an expanding wild. It fills Reels No. 1 to 4 when doing so creates a winning line. The only symbol the wild doesn’t substitute for is the scatter symbol. But fortunately, you get a second scatter symbol in Free Spins Mode: A Gold Salmon scatter. As is the case with most Rival scatter symbols, the Gold Salmon scatter icons have stars on the top-right corner. Three of them trigger the game’s Super Spirit Bonus Round.

The thunderbird is most powerful (and helpful) during the bonus round. At this point, the mood of the game alters; a thunderstorm replaces the bright moon in the backdrop, and lightning bolts start to soar. Charged with electrical currents, the thunderbird zaps Reel No. 1, making the entire thing wild for the five spins that make up the bonus round. This is a great opportunity to bump up the bankroll.

Thunderbird is straightforward enough for beginners and also dynamic enough for seasoned players. The game uses standard features – wilds, scatters, multipliers – in a way that creates a refreshing twist on traditional slot gameplay, making it a must-spin for all slots enthusiasts.

Politics : Tough Times for Trump; Dems Soaring

Party to Win the 2016 US Presidential Election; State Props

Things have gone from bad to worse for the Republican Party. As Donald Trump's presidential campaign turns more and more into a pro-wrestling show, Hillary Clinton and the Democrats see their election chances improve. In the past two weeks, the Republicans have slipped from +250 to +325 to win the 2016 US presidential race, while the Dems have taken another step forward from –325 to –450.

It's been three weeks since the Democratic National Convention wrapped up in Philadelphia, and Clinton's surge in the polls hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. Trump is doing most of the work for her by making outlandish comments that appeal to his base. He's projected to receive about 44% of the popular vote, so it's not a small base by any means, but hardly enough to win the election in a virtual two-horse race.

Trump's weakness in the key “swing” states can be seen on the props market, where his party's a +200 underdog to win the popular vote in Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Nevada, and North Carolina. There are even some “red” states that are anything but locked down; the Republicans are just –250 to win Missouri, and –300 in Utah.

Politics : Tough Times for Trump; Dems Soaring

Politics Odds: America Continues to Dump Trump
This isn't just a convention “bounce” for Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party. Over the past two weeks, they've moved from –325 to –450 on the futures market for the 2016 US presidential election. Their convention wrapped up three weeks ago.

Donald Trump has dominated the news cycle since then, although not in a presidential way. His latest round of inflammatory comments has the Republican Party dropping from +250 to +325 to win the election. Trump is still projected to get about 44% of the popular vote, but that would give Clinton an easy win on November 8.

MLB : Blue Jays Visit Yankees in Series Finale

The Toronto Blue Jays are back in the thick of the AL East pennant race. It's a three-team race at the moment, but the New York Yankees are trying to make it four. They'll host the Jays Wednesday afternoon (1:05 PM ET, SNET) in the third game of a three-game set; the Yankees won the opener 1-0 Monday night as +105 underdogs, down from +120 at the open.

With the loss, the Jays (67-52, –0.61 betting units) fell into a tie with the Baltimore Orioles for first place in the division, with the Boston Red Sox trailing by one and the Yankees (61-57, –0.73 units) 5.5 games behind. Toronto will send JA Happ (3.75 FIP) to the mound on Wednesday; he's led the team to 11 straight wins over the past two months, vaulting into third place among pitchers on the MLB money list at +11.79 units.

New York responds with veteran lefty CC Sabathia (4.42 FIP), who has the Yankees in the black at +1.85 units on a team record of 11-10, including three wins in his last four games. Both teams are missing outfielders for Wednesday's matchup: Brett Gardner for New York and Jose Bautista for Toronto.

MLB Odds: Jays Wrap Up Key Series with Yankees
With the AL East race coming down the home stretch, the Toronto Blue Jays (67-52, –0.61 betting units) visit the New York Yankees (61-57, –0.73 units) this Wednesday in the finale of a three-game series. Sportsnet has the coverage starting at 1:05 PM ET.

After losing the opener 1-0 to the Yankees (+105), Toronto fell into a first-place tie with the Baltimore Orioles, one game ahead of the Boston Red Sox and 5.5 up on the Yankees. JA Happ (3.75 FIP) is scheduled to pitch the finale against CC Sabathia (4.42 FIP) in a battle of veteran southpaws.

MLB : Blue Jays, Yankees Face Off in the Bronx

The Toronto Blue Jays (67-52) came into the week on top of the American League East, but the New York Yankees (61-57) won the first game of their three-game set. The Yankees will host the Jays for Game 3 on Wednesday.

The Blue Jays will give the ball to JA Happ (16-3 W-L, 2.96 ERF), who tossed six shutout innings of four-hit ball in a 7-0 win over Tampa Bay at home. Happ struck out seven and walked two. His last loss came back on June 6 against the Detroit Tigers. The 33-year-old southpaw is 5-2 in 12 career starts against the Yankees, posting a 3.93 ERA. He’s also 6-2 in 11 road starts with an ERA of 3.15.

The Yankees counter with CC Sabathia (7-9 W-L, 4.20 ERA), who also played the Rays at home in his last start. He allowed three runs on four hits over six innings in a 6-3 win, striking out seven and walking three. The 36-year-old southpaw and former Cy Young winner is 15-8 in 24 career starts against the Blue Jays with an ERA of 3.20. Sabathia is 2-6 in 10 starts at home this season with an ERA of 4.78.

MLB Odds: Happ Leads Blue Jays into Yankee Stadium On Wednesday
The spotlight is on the American League East on Wednesday when the New York Yankees host the Toronto Blue Jays. JA Happ, the American League wins leader, will take the mound for the Blue Jays.

Happ has 16 wins and is going for No. 17 against the Yankees, who will respond with CC Sabathia. Happ hasn't lost a decision since June 6 when the Blue Jays lost 11-0 to the Detroit Tigers. Sabathia, on the other hand, is 2-5 in his last 10 starts and is far from the Cy Young winner he used to be. The game starts at 1:05 PM ET.

E-sports : Can CLG Summon Another LCS Victory?

The League of Legends Championship Series has only been around since 2013, but it's already become one of the biggest spectacles in E-sports. This weekend, the playoffs for the Summer Split will begin for both the European Union and the North American brackets; the EU finals will be played in Krakow, Poland, while the NA finals will take place in Toronto, leaving American soil for the first time.

Counter Logic Gaming are the defending champions, and they followed up by winning this year's Spring Split. CLG finished fourth during the summer Round Robin at 10-8; however, they went 6-2 over the last four weeks, and will go into Monday's quarterfinal match with Team Liquid (9-9) as –175 favorites.

When it comes to the Euro scene, nobody has done better than Fnatic, the five-time champions. But they were runners-up during the Spring Split, and they limped into the summer playoffs with a 7-6-5 record, good for fifth place in the standings. Fnatic will be –110 underdogs in Sunday's quarterfinal versus H2k-Gaming, who also finished 7-6-5 during the Round Robin. H2k won the tie-breaker to take fourth place, after Fnatic had swept their Week 7 matchup 2-0.

Counter Logic Gaming were slow out of the gate, but the two-time and defending champions are on a hot streak going into the playoffs for the North American Summer Split of the League of Legends Championship Series. CLG (10-8) are –175 favorites for Monday's quarterfinal match against Team Liquid (9-9).

The EU side of the bracket has been dominated by Fnatic, the five-time champions, but they scraped into this summer's playoffs. After losing their tiebreaker for fourth place in the Round Robin standings, Fnatic (7-6-5) have slipped to –110 underdogs for Sunday's quarterfinal against H2k-Gaming (7-6-5).

MLB Odds: Former Cy Young Winners Highlight Tigers-Mariners Tilt

Tigers vs Mariners on Wednesday
A pair of former Cy Young winners take the mound on Wednesday when the Detroit Tigers and the Seattle Mariners wrap up a three-game series at Safeco Field. First pitch is at 10:10 PM ET.

2011 Cy Young and MVP winner Justin Verlander (12-6 W-L, 3.52 ERA) pitched a 4-3 home win over the New York Mets in his last outing. He allowed a pair of runs on four hits over six innings, striking out nine and walking one. He’s now 5-0 in his last seven starts. The 33-year-old righty is 10-8 in 19 career starts against the Mariners, posting a 3.35 ERA. Verlander is 5-3 in 10 road starts this season with a 3.76 ERA.

2010 Cy Young winner Felix Hernandez (6-4 W-L, 3.55 ERA) allowed two homers in a 6-4 home win over the Los Angeles Angels along with four runs on three hits in eight innings. Hernandez struck out six and walked three, but he got the win, which was his second in his last four starts. The 30-year-old has been fantastic against the Tigers over his career; he’s 9-3 in 14 starts against Detroit, posting a 2.57 ERA.

Tigers vs Mariners on Wednesday

MLB Odds: Verlander, Hernandez Square Off on Wednesday
Fans could be treated to a pitching duel on Wednesday when the Seattle Mariners host the Detroit Tigers in the finale of a three-game series.

Justin Verlander gets the call for the Tigers. The 2011 Cy Young/MVP winner has been on fire lately, going 5-0 in his last seven starts. He ranks second in the American League in innings and strikeouts. The Mariners will counter with 2010 Cy Young winner Felix Hernandez, who’s battled injuries this season. He’s starting to pitch better, going 2-0 in four starts since coming off the disabled list.

MLB : Happ, Jays Host Hapless Rays

Rays vs Blue Jays on Wednesday
There isn't much room for error, but the Toronto Blue Jays (64-49, +0.46 betting units) are on the right track. They're in good shape to earn at least a Wild Card berth in the American League playoffs; this Wednesday, the Jays can pick up another win at the expense of the last-place Tampa Bay Rays (45-66, –27.97 units), beginning at 7:07 PM ET on Sportsnet.

The Jays opened this three-game series with a bang Monday night, beating Tampa Bay 7-5 as –155 home favourites. JA Happ (3.83 FIP) is scheduled to start the finale for Toronto. Happ has been a pleasant surprise for the Jays, picking up 10.79 units on a team record of 17-5. That includes 10 straight wins dating back to early June. Getting 6.36 runs per game in support has helped. So has Happ's .271 BABIP.

Blake Snell (3.04 FIP) will twirl for Tampa in this lefty-on-lefty matchup. Snell has been outstanding for the Rays in his rookie campaign, but his teammates are letting him down; Tampa Bay is 3-7 in Snell's 10 starts for a loss of 4.43 units, scoring just 4.10 runs per game. This will be his first-ever appearance against the Blue Jays.

MLB Odds: Rays-Jays in AL East Rivalry
The Toronto Blue Jays (64-49, +0.46 betting units) continue their playoff push this Wednesday when they host the struggling Tampa Bay Rays (45-66, –27.97 units) in the finale of a three-game set at Rogers Centre. Sportsnet has the action starting at 7:07 PM ET.

The Blue Jays will try to win their 11th straight game with JA Happ (3.83 FIP) on the mound. Rookie Blake Snell (3.04 FIP) responds for Tampa Bay; he's out-pitched Happ this year, but the Rays are just 3-7 in Snell's 10 starts. Snell has yet to face Toronto's potent batting order.

Politics : DNC Bounce Leaves Republicans Scrambling

Party to Win the 2016 US Presidential Election
Two weeks ago, Donald Trump and the Republican Party pulled even in the polls with Hillary Clinton and the Democrats. Pretty much everything has gone wrong for Trump since then. The Republicans have fallen from +200 to +250 to win the 2016 US presidential election; Clinton and the Democrats are up from –260 to –325.

The Democratic Party is enjoying the standard “bounce” coming out of last week's convention; however, Trump has added to his problems by making inflammatory comments about the Muslim parents of a fallen American soldier. Trump also made the mistake of tweeting a picture showing him about to eat a piece of Kentucky Fried Chicken – with a knife and fork. On his private jet.

There are still three months to go before the election, but unless Clinton makes a major faux pas, or outside forces (terrorists, Russian hackers) intervene, things are not likely to improve from here for the GOP. In appealing to his base, Trump has split the Republican Party in two, alienating people who would otherwise be supporting his presidential campaign. We're likely to see more of these disenfranchised Republicans come out and publicly endorse Clinton, after the Congressional primaries are over.

2016 US Presidential Election - Donald Trump / Hillary Clinton

Politics Odds: Is This It for Donald Trump?
After getting savaged at the Democratic National Convention, Donald Trump's presidential bid may be broken beyond repair. Trump's Republican Party was available at +200 two weeks ago; at press time, the GOP is +250 on the futures market.

The Democrats (–325) are enjoying a post-convention bounce after calling Trump unfit to run for president, and Trump has poured gasoline on the fire by directing his anti-Muslim rhetoric to the parents of a fallen US soldier. This line of attack has further alienated would-be Republican supporters – some of whom may publicly endorse Hillary Clinton in the coming weeks.

Japanese Koi Ponds

Forget the paylines in Pond of Koi – an aesthetically-pleasing slot game that offers payouts for landing five matching icons anywhere on the reels. A Free Spins meter to the left of the reels increases every time a winning line-up is missed, and after five consecutive misses, continuous free spins are awarded until a winning line-up is triggered.

Wild Wild West

In Wild Wild Spin, help a county sheriff control the outlaws by landing three Bonus icons to initiate the Bonus Round. You’ll be summoned to face off against five infamous bandits. Win all five duels, and you’ll not only be paid well, but will also restore justice in this broken town.

Chinese Lucky Charms

Lucky cats, yin-yang symbols, tigers, dragons and more fill out the reels in 8 Lucky Charms – a 50-line slot game. Three Yin-Yang icons trigger a bonus round that offers 12 icons all containing varying payout values. Choosing three icons of the same color unlocks the trio’s payouts.

Mythology

Demi-Gods is a 5-reel, 25-line slot game that offers a glimpse into the lives of mythical beings. With help from Hades, Artemis, Zeus and Ares, you’ll get ample opportunities to collect other-worldly payouts. A sixth “bonus reel” endows mortals with godly powers to create high-paying demi-gods.

Prize Fighters

The Mortal Kombat-inspired Reel Fighters pits several prize fighters against one another for fame and big payouts. Some hot-shot fighters are so big and powerful they take up the entire reel while others are limited to single-icons. Lining up the perfect combination can land you winnings of up to 100X your line bet.

Soccer Babes

Soccer fans be warned: Soccer Babes features sizzling Euro ladies looking to score. Dressed in as little as a G-string, these gals’ best features are their scatters, wilds and multiplier meter, which offers bigger and bigger multipliers to compensate for missed spins. Big payouts can be netted by landing the right combination in this alluring 5-reel, 5-line slot game.

Play slots online

With the exception of Pond of Koi (which foregoes paylines), these games offer set paylines, so all lines are automatically active when you start spinning. You still customize how much you want to bet per line, and the amount bet per line determines the wins. In addition to the unique payline-format, these games also offer multiplier meters (which compensate for unsuccessful spins), bonus reels, and a “fast play” feature that increases the speed of gameplay, making these slots an intriguing new option.

Slots - Champs Élysées

Rival Gaming’s newest slot is based on the most beautiful avenue in the world – Champs Élysées. The 70-meter wide tree-lined boulevard located in Paris is known for its stunning architecture, making it the ideal backdrop for a 5-reel slot game. But it’s not just the design that makes the game so appealing; an expanding wild, the possibility of free spins and a bonus round that’ll take you on a digital shopping spree help create a balanced game that’s both rewarding and aesthetically pleasing.

Collecting free spins is the surest way to win payouts, and Champs Élysées offers plenty of opportunities to spin for free. The free spins symbol is the iconic Arc Triomphe, which is located on the western end of the boulevard. Three Arc Triomphes will get you 10 free spins, four will get you 20 free spins and five will get you 40 free spins. While spinning for free, you get the opportunity to trigger the Shopping Spree Bonus Round.

If you happen to land three Map of Paris symbols while in Free Spins Mode, get ready for a highly-rewarding shopping spree. All those shops you’ve been eyeing are open to serve you. Click different shops and collect payouts. But remember, each shop offers a unique payout, so try to pick the ones that look like they’ve got cash to spare.

Free Spins Mode increases your chances of thickening up your bankroll and offers the opportunity to go on an unforgettable shopping spree, but the benefits don’t end there. If a wild helps create a winning lineup during free spins, you collect 3X the payout. If, however, you’re not in Free Spins Mode, the wild has the ability to expand and fill Reel No. 1, 3 and 5 to help create winning lineups.

All in all, Champs Élysées is a thematically-rich online slot with loads of payout potential. The bottles of wine, platters of cheese, crepes and croissants do an excellent job of building up an appetite for a day in Paris.

MLB : New-Look Jays Visit Houston

The Toronto Blue Jays will have some fresh faces when they visit the Houston Astros this Wednesday (8:10 PM ET, SNET) in the third game of a four-game series. Toronto made a handful of deals ahead of the August 1 non-waiver trade deadline, adding pitchers Scott Feldman and Francisco Liriano while trading away Drew Hutchison and Jesse Chavez.

It'll be Marco Estrada (3.98 FIP) getting the nod for Toronto on Wednesday. Estrada has pitched quite well, delivering 11 quality starts in his last 12 games, but the Jays (59-47, –1.91 betting units) have lost three of Estrada's last five starts to fall 0.93 units in the red on a record of 10-8. The under is 12-6 this year with Estrada on the mound.

Collin McHugh (3.75 FIP) has pitched even better than Estrada, and the Astros (56-49, –5.54 units) have given him plenty of support at 5.10 runs per game, enough to generate 3.90 units of profit at 13-8 in his 21 starts. But this has still been a frustrating year for McHugh. Opposing batters have a combined .362 BABIP off McHugh this season, pushing his ERA all the way up to 4.75.

MLB : Mets, Yankees Meet in the Bronx on Wednesday

The Big Apple will be in the spotlight on Wednesday when the New York Yankees hosts the New York Mets in Game 3 of the latest edition of the “Subway Series”.

The Mets will go with Steven Matz (8-7, 3.35), who lost for the fourth time in five decisions in a 6-1 loss to Colorado at home. Matz allowed two runs on 10 hits over six innings, but he’s been hurt by a lack of run support. The Mets have scored two runs or less in each of his four recent losses. Matz has faced the Yankees just once in his career, taking a win last year in his rookie season.

The Yankees were going to give the ball to Ivan Nova (7-6, 4.90), but he was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates at the deadline on Monday. The Yankees lost four straight to end July and while sitting with a .500 record in fourth place in the American League East, decided to have a big fire sale. Carlos Beltran and All-Star reliever Andrew Miller were also moved. A lot of young prospects are in the process of being called up as this team will look very different down the stretch of the season.

MLB : Mets, Yankees Meet in the Bronx on Wednesday

MLB Odds: Mets, Yankees Face Off in “Subway Series” Showdown
The New York Mets head to the Bronx on Wednesday to take on the New York Yankees in the third game of their four-part “Subway Series” set.

Steven Matz will get the call for the Mets, although he has had some bad luck lately. Matz has lost four of his last five decisions, although he hasn't been getting much run support, either. The Yankees were going to counter with Ivan Nova before they unloaded him, Andrew Miller and their leading batter Carlos Beltran at the trade deadline on Monday. While the Mets gear up for a World Series run, the Yankees have moved into rebuilding mode.
