The Giants will start with Johnny Cueto (14-3, 2.90 ERA) who’s coming of an 8-1 win over the New York Mets. Cueto allowed a run on eight hits over seven innings, striking out two and he didn't walk a batter for the first time in eight starts. The 30-year-old All-Star is 2-0 in three starts against the Dodgers this season, posting an ERA of 3.63.
The Dodgers will counter with Rich Hill (9-3, 2.25 ERA), who’s back in action for the first time in over a month. He returns from the disabled list with a blister, hoping to make his Dodgers debut. In his last start with the Oakland Athletics, Hill won a 3-1 decision in Houston, giving up a run on three hits over six innings with 10 strikeouts and a pair of walks. The 36-year-old lefty is 2-1 in five career starts against the Giants with an ERA of 3.18.

The National League West is the place to be on Wednesday when the Los Angeles Dodgers (69-55, -4.91 betting units) host their rivals, the San Francisco Giants (68-56, -2.15 betting units), in the second game of a three-game set.
The Giants will go with Johnny Cueto after the All-Star ended a six-start winless streak with an 8-1 win against the New York Mets on August 19. Meanwhile, the Dodgers are hoping to go with Rich Hill, who was acquired from Oakland on August 1, but has yet to make his debut due to a blister.
