Cueto allowed a run on eight hits over seven innings, striking out two and he didn't walk a batter for the first time in eight starts. The 30-year-old All-Star is 2-0 in three starts against the Dodgers this season, posting an ERA of 3.63.
The Dodgers will counter with Rich Hill (9-3, 2.25 ERA), who’s back in action for the first time in over a month. He returns from the disabled list with a blister, hoping to make his Dodgers debut. In his last start with the Oakland Athletics, Hill won a 3-1 decision in Houston, giving up a run on three hits over six innings with 10 strikeouts and a pair of walks. The 36-year-old lefty is 2-1 in five career starts against the Giants with an ERA of 3.18.

The National League West is the place to be on Wednesday when the Los Angeles Dodgers (69-55, -4.91 betting units) host their rivals, the San Francisco Giants (68-56, -2.15 betting units), in the second game of a three-game set.
