Entertainment Odds: 75th Golden Globe Awards

The second-most important awards show for the film and television industry will take place this Sunday (8 PM ET, NBC) when the 75th edition of the Golden Globe Awards airs live from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The nominees were announced on December 11; at press time, The Shape of Water (+180) and The Post (+210) are almost neck-and-neck for Best Motion Picture Drama.

There’s another battle brewing for Best Director, where Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water) is a –120 favorite over Christopher Nolan (Dunkirk) at +125. And it’s a dead heat at +125 for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama between Sally Hawkins (The Shape of Water) and Frances McDormand (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri).

In addition to the Golden Globe odds, you’ll also find a “Cousin Sal” special, pitting The Shape of Water against the HBO series Big Little Lies to see which one will win more Golden Globes. Big Little Lies is a –700 chalk to win its own category for TV, and it’s the favorite for this wager at –1.5 (–120). You can find this and all the Cousin Sal bets under the Specials menu at Bovada Sports.
