MLB Odds: Estrada, Pineda Meet in New York
Wednesday’s MLB schedule kicks off in the Big Apple. The New York Yankees host the Toronto Blue Jays in the final matchup of their three-game set.Toronto’s Marco Estrada (4-6, 4.86 ERA) is looking to put a miserable June behind him. He was 0-4 with a 9.11 ERA last month. The Jays will nonetheless send him to the hill in New York. The Yankees’ Michael Pineda (8-4, 4.05 ERA) was slightly better in June, going 2-2 with a 5.35 ERA. Pineda’s home/away splits show that he’s better at home (6-2 in nine starts, 2.91 ERA), so that’s a good sign for New York. Estrada is 2-4 in nine road starts with a 4.83 ERA.
